This wonderful summery necklace features a hand painted reproduction on shell by a Russian artist. The original is Alphonse Mucha “Summer” (1896).

The image is surrounded with a variety of  components: a natural untreated chrysocolla, stone of communication, expression, empowerment and teaching. I also used a handmade cold porcelain poppy flower (artist from France), handmade lampwork glass flowers (artist from Florida), Czech glass beads, Japanese tila beads and verdigris patina metal drop.

It is truly a bright and unique piece that you can wear on many occasions from dinner on the terrace to a fancy party.

The pendant measures 6″ (152mm) (including the drop) and a maximum 2 3/4″ (70mm) in width. It hangs on a strand of Czech glass faceted beads and it is adjustable from 15 3/4″(400mm) to 17″(432mm). It weighs 66g.
