This wonderful statement necklace is built around a miniature reproduction of Gustav Klimt’s ” Emilie Floge”. It is an oil painting on shell by Russian artist from the famous Fedoskino school of art. The color scheme is picked up from the pendant itself: deep purple of an untreated amethyst stone, deep green of turquoise and a gorgeous natural chrysocolla. The quality of materials used in this necklace is exquisite: Swarovski crystals, fire polished czech glass beads, verdigris patina filigree components, all coming together to create a gorgeous elegant piece. The natural leather is printed with a chameleon metallic pattern changing from purple to deep turquoise as it is moved in the light.
The pendant measures 6 3/8″ (1162mm) and a maximum 4 5/8″ (117mm) in width. It hangs a max 7″ (178mm) and it is not adjustable. I will consider redoing the stringing for a larger neck circumference. It weighs 107g.
