This sparkly statement piece was my submission to a beading contest. It won a bronze price. It is featured here:

You have to see it to believe it. The photos do not do justice to the sparkle and shine. The colors are saturated and deep. It’s the story of the guardian goddess ( the beautiful hand painted clay face by sculptedwindows) holding branches with leaves, flowers and butterflies. Above is the night sky shining with Swarovski stars and pearls. The ground is represented by a big crystal rock with ladybugs and snails. And the story ends at the bottom of the ocean with coral branches, fish and sea stars.
There are over 87 different types of Swarovski crystals and shapes in this necklace. The collar is made of gold crackle metallic leather and continues the nature theme with a focal vermeil enameled butterfly and more Swaroski stones. Many many hours of work went into this magnificent piece. What more can I say?
Front section approximate dimensions:
Width 7 3/4in (197mm) / Height (including collar width) 8in (203mm). See photo on display for reference. Display is 11 3/4in (300mm) high by 8in (203mm) wide. Because of many stones, it is quite heavy, yet very comfortable to wear.
